Cameron Beats Hernandez In WBC Title Defense

WBC female super lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron (14-0, 8 KOs) scored TKO at the official time 1:08 of the fifth round against former champion Melissa Hernandez (23-8-3, 7 KOs) in the Haney-Linares co-feature in the arena at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Cameron was definitely trending tonight on social media as she controlled the fight as she had the fight in her pocket the whole way and scored a knockdown in round four pinning Hernandez on the ropes catching her in the counter
Cameron showing she was the hungrier friend referee Celestino Ruiz jumping in the action to call a holt to the bout as Hernandez looked in disbelief still had plenty of fight in her.
