Las Vegas, NV – Unbeaten WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney (26-0, 15 KOs) scored a twelve round unanimous decision over former three-division champion Jorge Linares (47-6, 29 KOs) in the Michelob Ultra Arena at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The speedy Haney stood his ground but still outboxed Linares for much of the fight, Linares came on strong late and had Haney wobbled, but he was too far behind, Haney getting away with elbow to the face shots behind the head and hugging it out with Linares survived getting into a real exchange in the championship rounds against what we scored as a draw.

WBC female super lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron (14-0, 8 KOs) scored TKO at the official time 1:08 of the fifth round against former champion Melissa Hernandez (23-8-3, 7 KOs) in the Haney-Linares co-feature in the arena at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Cameron was definitely trending tonight on social media as she controlled the fight as she had the fight in her pocket the whole way and scored a knockdown in round four pinning Hernandez on the ropes catching her in the counter Cameron showing she was the hungrier friend referee Celestino Ruiz jumping in the action to call a holt to the bout as Hernandez looked in disbelief still had plenty of fight in her.
Las Vegas, NV – In a battle of Golden Boy fighters Middleweight Jason Quigley (19-1, 14 KOs) won a hard fought ten round majority decision over Shane Mosley Jr (17-4, 10 KOs) for the @worldboxingorg WBO NABO Middleweight title. Both fighters evenly matched battled in the center of the ring throwing huge bombs in a fight that went from 1 to 10 in the early rounds. Mosley,Jr. a very slick fighter having his moments throughout the contest but Quigley boxed well in the later rounds putting it right on the on coming Mosley,Jr. Judges official scores were 95-95, 97-93, 96-94.

Las Vegas, NV – In a final eliminator for the IBF super featherweight title, Azinga Fuzile (15-1, 9 KOs) from South Africa scored a seventh round hard KO over Martin J. Ward (24-2-2, 11 KOs). Fuzile dropped Ward in round four with an explosive check hook, Fuzile then dropped Ward again in round seven and Ward’s corner seen enough ending the contest at the official time 2:45 of round seven.

Kissimmee, Florida – Jr lightweight George “El Yuyu” Acosta (12-1, 1 KO) from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico outpointed Gadwin “El Abayarde” Rosa (11-2, 9 KOs) from Vieques, Puerto Rico over ten rounds in a unanimous decision to claim the vacant WBA Fedecentro title on Friday night at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
Rosa started out strong putting his counterpunching together keeping Acosta moving in the earlier rounds, Acosta settled in letting off sharp punches catching Rosa who started leaving himself open. Both fighters having there moments in the fight but Acosta clearly did the most damage.
Judges scorecards were 96-94, 97-93, 98-92 for Acosta.
Elvin Gambarov (15-0, 13 KO) from Galaba, Azerbaijan becomes the WBC International Silver Junior Middleweight Champion by beating Diego Cruz (21-10-2) from Mexico City, Mexico in a all out ten round slug fest Gambarov wins by decision.
Lightweight Jean Guerra Vargas (4-0) from Caguas, PR. out-classed Gilberto Aguilar (0-2) from Mexico City, Mexico. by scoring a four round unanimous decision victory.
Vargas was the aggressor throughout the fight landing big bombs on Aguilar who spent the fight in survival mode as Vargas punched his way to a great performance today.
Junior Featherweight Pedro Salome (3-0-1) from Los Angeles, CA. slugged it out against very tough fighter Hector Bayanilla (2-1-1) from San Juan, PR. working him to a split decision victory for Salome.
Both fighters had big moments in the fight landing hard shots as Salome edged out the decision 39-37 (3x) in favor of Salome.
In the opening bout of the night Lightweight Mandeep Jangra (1-0) from Kharin, India made his professional debut tonight scoring a four round unanimous decision victory over Luciano Ramos (0-1) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Ramos the aggressor early on catching Jangra with a hard hook to the head that floored him in the opening round.
