Brooklyn, N.Y. – Detroit’s
Tony Harrison (28-2, 21 KOs)
certainly found a diamond in a rough last night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in New York
Clearly you can make a case Harrison untested until his loss last year against Jarrett Hurd In 2017. Collecting three wins in a row setting him up for the Jermell Charlo (31-1, 15 KOs) fight securing himself the opportunity of a lifetime.
Harrison genuinely beat Charlo last night by pulling
off the upset by scoring a unanimous decision victory
did that generate him to become one of the hottest up and coming fighters in the division? There is very little dispute about that at this point but he clearly earned his win last night.
Harrison respectfully to enjoy his title win and enjoy his holidays. I hope to see him back in early 2019.
Harrison does not have the quickest hands in the game, but his timing and accuracy are commendable that is certainly what I believe he bought to the table last night.
