Phila,PA. – Bantamweight sensation Christian Carto (16-0, 11 KO’s) from Philadelphia, PA., has had a pretty easy ride since his last win on August 8th with a unanimous decision victory over Javier Gallo in Atlantic City, NJ. Stepping into the ring in his 8th fight appearance at the Sugar House Casino, He is ready for battle this Friday night in the main event Presented by KP Promotions, Carto taking on Antonio “Tony” Rodriguez (13-22-2, 6 KO’s) a Mexican hard-hitting puncher who figures to give a highly competitive fight.

Rodriguez coming off of a KO victory against Carlos Apodaca in September has his hands full with the highly talented Carto an aggressive boxer who throws sharp accurate combinations, clearly both men come to fight, and the fans at Sugar House can look forward to a bristling encounter, but is this a test for the 21-year-old Carto? The challenger Rodriguez is good enough to go the distance regardless of how Carto fares in his quest to seek another win.

Carto recording his last TKO win in August of 2017, since then he has fast tracked with five straight unanimous decision victories, no question a mark of improvement in technique for Carto keeping the past few fights in long range but punching with the puncher has been key for him.

Carto does have power indeed he has a right hand that can end a fight at any given time, but discipline for the young Carto is key in this match against the coming forward Rodriguez, But Carto’s style he looks best when his opponent is the aggressor, Carto very good at blocking punches with consummate skill, I expect Rodriguez to turn in a respectable performance against Carto and may have a few good moments in the contest, However Carto is growing and has the will to break Rodriguez in half ending the contest by knockout in the mid-rounds.
