Alvarez controlled the pace of the fight by out boxing very tough Tavera landing hard combinations and shots to Head and body, Tevara fought very hard but was dropped in the contest, Alvarez stepped on the gas in the late in the fight Tevara making it a dog fight returned fire but fell short in the later rounds, Alvarez the stronger fighter finishes him off in the later rounds.
