New York – There’s no question Guillermo Rigondeaux blistering hand-speed appears to still be there he will certainly get his chance to break back into the elite when he faces Vasyl Lomachenko at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, with that said it is very easy to make a case for Lomachenko outpointing Rigondeaux.

Look closely at Lomachenko’s strong jab, his smart, purposeful movement, and sturdy chin at his weight, but for a split second I didn’t think Rigondeaux would panic or succumb in the face of Lomachenko’s attack perhaps a arguable decision in this one, I do not see Rigondeaux or Lomachenko getting stopped.

Styles mean everything in this business, and in this matchup they mean even more then that.

History will be made on December 9th when Ukrainian wizard Vasyl Lomachenko takes on Guillermo Rigondeaux at the Madison Square Garden Theater. In what is surely the best skills match-up in boxing, a pair of two-time Olympic gold medallists meet for the first time.

Lomachenko, the fastest ever two-weight World Champion, defends his WBO World Super-Featherweight Title, while unbeaten Cuban opponent is moving up from Super-Bantamweight for this unmissable December dust-up. @thegarden
