Miami, Florida – On Saturday, May 20th, Cuban star Super Lightweight Rances “Kid Blast” Barthelemy (25-0, 13 KO’s) will be one step closer to becoming the first Cuban to win world titles in three weight classes when he battles Kiryl “Mad Bee” Relikh (21-1, 19 KO’s) in a WBA 140-pound title eliminator. Barthelemy already a champion at 130 and 135 will put himself in a mandatory position to face unified 140 champion Julius Indongo if he were to defeat Relikh on Saturday, May 20th.
This bout will be televised on Showtime at 6PM ET/3PM PT. The main-event will be headlined by WBC Featherweight World Champion Gary Russell Jr. defending his title against top challenger Oscar Escandon. Also middleweight contenders Andre Dirrell and Jose Uzcategui will matchup for the Interim IBF Super Middleweight World Championship.
