LOMACHENKO BEATS DOWN WALTERS 

@worldboxingorg WBO super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (7-1, 4 KOs) scored a one-sided seven round TKO over previously unbeaten former world champion Nicholas “Axe Man” Walters (26-1-1, 21 KOs) on Saturday night at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Walters quits in his corner at the end of round seven.

“Pitufo” Diaz Can Take It…with hard fought win over Vargas

Kissimmee, Florida – Featherweight CHRISTOPHER “Pitufo” DIAZ (19-0, 11 KO’s) from Puerto Rico won a hard fought eight round unanimous decision win in Kissimmee tonight against tough Fernando Vargas (27-13-3, 20 KO’s).  It was clearly a case of toe to toe battle as Diaz Left hook vs. Vargas right hook, Both fighters blasted reach other with hard blows in a back and forth assault, Vargas was not backing down to nothing pushing Diaz to fight every single round, Diaz found ways to pin point his attack and push Vargas back with hard blows to the head, Vargas continued to walk straight in and get hit every single time. Diaz pulls out the victory in the judges scorecards making it his second consecutive win in Kissimmee, Florida this year.

The hard hitting prospect triumphs tonight by defeating Eduardo Flores in a six round unanimous decision win tonight in Kissimmee, Florida on Top Rank UniMas bill. Valentin was the orthodox fighter handling Flores with some hard shots to the head and body, Flores was game in terms of countering with Valentin but clearly was a step behind telegraphing his shots, Valentin the aggressior got his attention in the later rounds working a hard jab letting the fight come to him winning a hard fought victory in front of a sold out Osceola Heritage Park.
