Philadelphia, PA – Charismatic slugger Super Middleweight David “El Bandera Roja” Benavidez (16-0, 15 KOs) from Pheonix, AZ. scored a 10 round TKO over Denis “Momma’s Boy” Douglin (20-5, 13 KOs) from Las Vegas, NV. on Friday night at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 
On Premier Boxing Champions live telecast on @ESPN. It was all Benavidez it is hard not to be impressed by the Mexican’s blend of sharp counterpunching, controlled power, head-shifting defense prowess, and his refined sense of time and distance. Douglin was off course right from the start, Benavidez went for the kill crushing Douglin with a hard shot in round nine surviving a partial collapse of the corner buckles and ropes. Referee Gary Rosato seen enough waving off the contest at the official time of :35 seconds of round ten via TKO victory for Benavidez.

Jr Middleweight Tyrone Brunson (23-6-1, 22 KO’s knocked out Carlos Garcia (10-17-1, 8 KO’s) down at rd 1; then Brunson down twice in rd 2. Brunson tagged Garcia with a shot and he couldn’t beat the count: Brunson by TKO at the official time of at 0:25 seconds of round four. 

Super Middleweights Darryl Bunting (2-0-2, 1 KO) and Edward Jeramine Ortiz (1-0-1, 1 KO) battle to a Majority draw, One judge gave Bunting the 39-37 edge, overruled by 2 even scores.

Lightweight Jeffrey Torres (1-0, 1 KO) ridiculously destroyed Mariano Rolon by KO stoppage at the official time of 2:23 of round three.

Jr Middleweight Kieran Hooks (1-0) survived 1st rd KD, fought back strong in his pro debut win over Miguel Martinez (2-2). 

Lightweight powerhouse Alejandro Luna goes to (21-0, 15 KO’s) as he cuts right through tough Naim Nelson (13-2, 1 KO’s) shots in route to a eight round unanimous decision victory for Luna. Judges official scores 99-91, 98-82, 97-93. In favor for Luna.

Lightweight Victor Vasquez (6-2, 2 KO’s) from Yonkers, NY. Took advantage of Conquest foot speed and Battled his way to a unanimous decision victory over game Jerome Conquest (6-2, 1 KO)
