WBO Latin junior lightweight champion Carlos “Fino” Ruiz (16-2-1, 6 KOs) hammered out a clear cut ten round unanimous decision over Joel “Jooe” Montes de Oca (18-6, 10 KOs) on Friday night at the Blackberry Auditorium in Mexico City. Ruiz floored Montes de Oca with a left uppercut at the end of round six en route to a 99-90, 99-90, 100-89 verdict.
  
The fight was the first of two consecutive weeks of “Mexican Civil Wars” airing on the popular TV Series Boxeo Telemundo, promoted by All Star Boxing. The final telecast of the spring season takes place Friday, March 18 when former WBO interim world champion and current super bantamweight contender Alejandro “Payasito” Hernandez (30-11-2, 16 KOs) faces Isao Carranza (15-6-1, 9 KO’s) in ten round rematch.

Tampa, Florida- Another great night of boxing from All Star Boxing,Inc. as Orlando “El Fenomeno” Cruz (25-4-1, 11 KOs) from Puerto Rico Defeats Romulo Koasicha (25-6, 15 KOs) of Mexico, at a sold out A La Carte Pavillion in Tampa, Florida by ways of unanimous decision victory retaining his NABO junior lightweight champion. Cruz broke through further stardom tonight emerged to position himself for an up and coming big fight. Cruz walked right through the on coming warrior Koasicha all night long as he took an awful beating from Cruz who did what ever he wanted to do in there, Koasicha ate a hard jab that froze him in the center of the ring as he collapsed to the canvas from the shot, It was just ridiculously easy assignment for Cruz who pulled out a great performance. 

  

“Hurricane” Sammy Valentin (6-0, 5 KO’s) from Lutz, Florida. fighter just breaking into a major league level with his all-round boxing skills cleanly broke down Cosme Rivera (38-23-3, 26 KO’s) with a hard body to liver dropping Rivera at 1:34 seconds of round four by TKO.
Santiago Arroyo (4-0, 2 KO’s) wins in simply a blowout fight of the night by blasting Luis Villegas (0-2) at 2:14 seconds of the forth and final round with a devastating overhand right that floors Villegas catching him cold counterpunching Arroyo wide at the final seconds of the fight loosing to young Arroyo by KO victory.

Heavyweight Jose Medina (1-0, 1 KO’s) has done everything in his young career expected of him to get here as he steps into ring in his debut out bombed Richard White with blistering quickness and solid hard shots it was just a matter of time Medina punch-volume was too much for White as he stepped into a hard hook dropping him at 2:59 seconds of round two by TKO White couldn’t continue action sealing the victory for Medina.

The 10 round main event will feature world ranked contender and NABO junior lightweight champion Orlando “El Fenomeno” Cruz (22-4-1, 11 KOs) from Puerto Rico defending his title against recent world title challenger Romulo Koasicha (25-5, 15 KOs) of Mexico, at the A La Carte Pavillion in Tampa, Florida. Cruz, a former world title challenger himself, is determined to get himself another world title fight.
