World Champion Terence “Bud” Crawford and Top Prospect Felix “Diamante” Verdejo both did their part in helping the community today in New York to kick off fight week as they prepare for their well anticipated bouts inside the world famous Madison Square Garden, Saturday February 27live on HBO. Undefeated superstar Terence “Bud” Crawford (27-0, 19 KOs), of Omaha, the 2014 Fighter of the Year and a two-division world champion, will be defending his World Boxing Organization (WBO) junior welterweight world title against Top-10 contender Lundy (26-5-1, 13 KOs), of Philadelphia, PA, on Saturday, February 27 at The Theater in Madison Square Garden, New York City.
Also Puerto Rican superstar Felix “El Diamante” Verdejo (19-0, 14 KOs), of San Juan, Puerto Rico, will be risking his WBO @WorldBoxingOrg Latino lightweight title, Top-Five world ranking and his impending world title shot when he takes on William Silva (23-0, 14 KOs), of São Paulo, Brasil, in a battle of undefeated contenders.
