Cruiserweight King Nicoya Figueroa (2-0, 2 KO’s) from Orlando, Florida. returns to the ring since his debut win in May of this year gradually improving opposition, takes care of Kevin Miller at :58 seconds of round two by TKO victory for Figueroa.

Figueroa from the gate trying to find the one-punch knockout settled down started landing hard right hooks to the head on Miller who reached the end very quickly getting tagged hard in round two, Figueroa stepped on the gas landing hostile punches Miller just could not continue action.

Rising star super lightweight star in Gervonta “Tank” Davis (13-0, 12 KOs), with promoter Floyd “Money” Mayweather watching ringside, stop former world champion Cristobal Cruz (40-19-4, 24 KOs) in the third round.

Davis sent Cruz to the canvas in round one with a straight left-right hook combo and followed that up with an uppercut that put Cruz down again and caused the referee to stop the fight 1:31 into round three.

Davis Post-Fight: “I did well. I need to work on some things. I listened to my corner and to Floyd, I’m thankful for everyone who got me prepared. “We’ll get right back into the ring and continue to get better.”

Bantamweight Gary Antonio Russell (5-0, 4 KO’s) certainly a crowd pleaser at the University of Central Florida right from the opening bell launched a explosive attack on Eduardo Melendez, and I mean forget it Melendez had to be especially careful with counterpunching with the quicker hands of Russell who impressively caught Melendez walking right into a hard counter that ended his night at 1:31 seconds of round three by TKO victory for Russell.

Welterweight Miguel Cruz (11-0, 10 KO’s) didn’t waist any time punching out

Anthony Abbruzzese (4-4, 3 KO’s) ending his night at 2:17 of round one by TKO victory.

Cruz was the stronger fighter Abbruzzese timing was off a bit early on as Cruz approaching top-notch cut the ring and executed hard combinations wearing down Abbruzzese quickly and getting the quick win.

Welterweight Samuel Figueroa (10-0, 4 KO’s) wins a Florida turf war against tough Javontae Starks (13-1, 7 KO’s) handing him his first professional loss in a hard scrap, Clearly Figueroa throws so many punches early on making it difficult for Starks to settle into his shots in the counter. Starks very crafty landed great bombs from a distance tho Figueroa was the technical fighter applying consistent pressure to Starks winning the unanimous decision judges scores 78-74, 77-75 (2x).

BOOTH GENTLY BEATS UP GONZALEZ

Kissimmee,Florida. A halloween night at the exhibit building Osceola Heritage Park as Top Rank, Inc. in association with All Star Boxing brings Solo Boxeo Tecate into town featuring welterweight Clarence “The Truth” Booth (13-1, 7 KO’s) gets the nod on Friday moving his clash against tough Puerto Rican fighter Luis Joel Gonzalez (11-2-1, 6 KO’s) into the main event of the evening. The card scheduled for the return of Felix Verdejo who pulled out still working on his hand injury had a great meet in greet with hundreds of fans attending the fights.

Sometimes bouts that look good on paper somethings don’t end up looking good one the bell rings, In this case the developing Clarence Booth put a a good performance outworking Gonzalez to the punch, Booth early on fired jabs and strength lefts at the on coming Gonzalez who explored a nice right hook that momentarily put Booth in a little trouble in the third, Booth came right back in the forth with reasonably entertaining rounds trading with Gonzalez in the ring and doing decent scoring with his two-fisted attack.

Gonzalez landing bombs of his own came ready to fight stalked Booth the better part of the mid rounds but couldn’t pull the trigger occasionally attacking Booth back just waiting on him to throw punches fell short in the unanimous decision loss giving Booth the victory, Judges scores 80-74, 79-73 (2x) for Booth. #BoothGonzalez Saturday, October 31st at the Osceola Heritage Park – Kissimmee, Florida

Featherweight Chris “Pitufo”Diaz (13-0, 8 KO’s) went bombs away putting out Karl Garcia from Bayamon, PR. Lights out with a viscous knockout at the Osceola Heritage Park, Diaz celebrating his 21st Birthday in winning fashion.

Diaz starts off relaxed takes a few shots to the body by Garcia then respond right back with a hard left hook to Garcia’s head, Diaz threw a monster left hand that staggers Garcia referee Frank Santore allowed action to continue Diaz right away loaded up throwing a left right sending Garcia down hard to the canvas the official time :26 seconds of round two KO victory for Diaz.

Super Bantamweight local favorite Jean Carlos Rivera (4-0, 2 KO’s) home cooking indeed as he clashed in a hard fought battle against tough Jovany Fuentes (6-7, 5 KO’s) to a unanimous decision victory for Rivera.

Fuentes maybe not tougher, but just a slight better early on as he chipped away early keeping the fight in the inside trading huge blows with it made it for a bi-product of a great fight written all over it.
