Tampa,Florida – Super flyweight fighter and former world title challenger David “Dabo” Quijano (16-5-1, 9 KOs) of Caguas, Puerto Rico, Came into Tampa as the spoiler by winning a 10 round unanimous decision over formerly world ranked local favorite Daniel “El Alacrán” Lozano (13-4, 10 KOs) of Bowling Greens, Florida on Friday night at the A La Carte Pavillion in Tampa, Florida. Presented by All Star Boxing,Inc. live action on Boxeo Telemundo. A very competitive assault from both young warriors leaving it all in the ring last night, Quijano looking very sharp early on showing lots of value in his punches promised his fans in Puerto Rico a competitive match that clearly was the case. Lozano made it a tab difficult for himself not letting his hands go when he needed too, not using his feet to get in and out allowing Quijano to come right in as Lozano continuously pulled straight back getting clocked every time. Quijano cemented the victory in the judges’ scorecard were 95-94 twice and 96-93 for Quijano, who was deducted a point in round nine. Quijano wins the WBO interim Latin Jr. Bantamweight title.
