CHERRY FINISHES OFF CRUZ IN 9th 

 
Lightweights Edner “Cherry Bomb” Cherry (34-6-2, 19 KO) stops Luis Cruz (21-4, 16 KO’s) at the SunDome, Cruz held his own boxed Cherry throughout the match Cherry just kept the pressure on him landing a huge right hook to the face of Cruz in the 5th round, Cruz did ‘not led up keeping his attack to a minimum he just couldn’t capitalize. Cherry crushes Cruz with a hard right hand Cruz grabs him throws himself on top of Cherry sending him to the ground Cherry dazed by the fall allowed 5 min to recover both fighters exchange toward the end of the round. In round 9 Cherry have seen enough catching Cruz with a straight right sending Cruz to the canvas, Cherry jumped right on him with another huge right hand ending Cruz night at 2:13 of round nine by KO victory for Cherry.

#ThurmanCollazo July 11th In Tampa

@ESPN has announced that @WBABoxingOfficial “regular” welterweight champion @KeithOneTimeThurman (25-0, 21 KOs) will defend against @RealLuisCollazo (36-6, 19 KOs) in ESPN’s first @PremierBoxingChamps card on Saturday, July 11. The bout will take place in Thurman’s backyard of Tampa, Florida at @usfsundome
