Kissimmee. Florida. – The future continues to get brighter in the sweet science as up and coming Super Lightweight star Vincente “El Loco” Mosquera (33-2-1, 18 KO’s) did not get distracted or derailed by a common Joan Guzman once again not making weight for a fight coming in a whopping 8 pounds heavy. It did not stop Mosquera from shining bright at the Kissimmee Civic Center last night’s All Star Boxing, Inc. on Telemundo Boxing series. The target was set quick as Cosme “El Chino” Rivera (35-17-3, 24 KO’s) one of many older fighters that takes fights at short notice gave good veteran show but certainly was far from enough as the WBA Ranked #5 fighter Mosquera punished Cosme.
Cosme a slower started could not match the connecting power punches of the quicker Mosquera, who continually backed up Cosme with the jab and quick shots to the body and head just having his way breaking down Cosme who’s aggression just continued to diminish as the fight went on. At the end of the sixth round referee Max Parker, Jr. in Cosme’s corner certified he could not continue action just before the start of round seven. @allstarboxing @fernandezboxing @telemundo
